The RWD Tesla Model 3 will only partially lose the tax credit for new electric vehicles after April 17, as it will still get a US$3,750 subsidy deduction despite using CATL's LFP batteries. Furthermore, Tesla will somewhat compensate the loss by slashing the Model 3 price again.
