This unit is a complete mess when trying to use it with the HDMI-EARC. I had one for just over a year and it wouldn't work reliably with my Samsung 65" TV. I finally took it back to Costco for a refund.
Buyer beware.

The standalone Bose Soundbar 700 may lack Dolby Atmos support and a dedicated subwoofer, but on sale for under US$500, the DTS-compatible audio system might be worth consideration for fans of a neutral sound profile and premium build quality.
