Well, Apple fails to deliver decent touch/pen/flip capabilities since ages.
For me, this feature is crucial in order to get the best and fastest results on a small and portable Laptop. Sadly Apple failed to deliver decent repair or upgrade options/program, too.
Apple could be a great product, but falls short in upgradability/repair, features (touch, pen), Operating Systems (No Linux, Windows anymore) and price (but this could be ok, if the product would would be as good as it's promoted for the current asked sometime ridiculous price for small upgrades (512GB SSD vs 1TB SSD,...)).

So x86 will not be dead for a long time, but maybe Apple fixes this issues with the next Mac. Until then there is no way Apple will dominate the IT-World.

Dieser Test zerstört den Mythos von einer deutlich besseren Energie-effizient von ARM-Cores.

Apple-Kerne sind keine typischen ARM-Kerne, weshalb AMD im Embedded-Markt (z.b. Handheld) gegen ARM-Kerne auch immer stärker wird. AMDs direkter Konkurrent im PC-Markt ist Intel und nicht Apple. Mit dem 7950HX halt AMD im hochprofitablen Workstation-Markt erstmal in der AMD-Geschichte die Multi-Thread-Performance- und -Effizienz-Krone. Das muss Intel erstmals verdauen.

Ich bin kein Gamer, also bevorzuge ich AMD ZEN 4 7040 Phoenix, das bereits viel effizienter als RaptorLake ist und über die AMD Smart Access Memory-Technologie verfügt.
Zen 4 7040 Phoenix= DDR5 + RDNA 3 + USB 4.0 + HDMI 2.1 + künstliche Intelligenz. AMD der erste x86-Prozessor mit KI, alle mit XDNA-Architektur, entwickelt von Xilinx, alle bei 4 nm im Vergleich zu Intel 10 nm. Das zukünftige Windows 12 und Office wie Direct XII werden sich auf künstliche Intelligenz konzentrieren.
Das Interessanteste an Zen 4 ist RDNA 3 + FSR 3.0, das Ihnen ein viel flüssigeres Spielerlebnis ermöglicht und gleichzeitig Entwicklern ermöglicht, mehr GPU-Zeit für die visuelle Qualität aufzuwenden. Erstaunlich ja, aber vielleicht hat AMD nicht die 3D-V-Cache-Produktions-Kapazitäten, um auch die ganzen Gaming-HX-Serie damit auszustatten. Selbst der 7800X3D kommt etwas später am Markt.

Interessant wären auch RyZen 9 Phönix-H oder auch -U-Serie mit 3D-V-Cache, um den überlegenen 780M nochmals zu Boosten. So oder so wird 2023 ein verdammt hartes Jahr für Intel

Viel erstaunlicher ist für mich, dass AMD in genau dem Bereich wo Effizienz richtig Trumpf ist, Zuviel Saft eh nicht geht und es vorwiegend Gaming betrifft, keine 3D Modelle anbietet...
