10 GB, 12 GB and 16 GB VRAM options for the 4070 would have allowed price variety, such as $600, $650 and $700 potentially making everybody happy. If we only get one VRAM option, it might be tied to a too high price like 4070TI, 4080 and 4090. As the 3060 VRAM varity has shown, options are possible. It is just a matter of Nvidia's product strategy whether to offer options and whether all prices remain too high.
NVIDIA's board partners are adding support for more Ada Lovelace-based graphics cards. Based on new references in a Gigabyte Control Center changelog, NVIDIA has finally settled on VRAM volumes for the forthcoming GeForce RTX 4060 and GeForce RTX 4070.
