Nobody will buy these iPadOS devices at those prices. If they make them 16GB/512GB base config like with Macbook Pro 14 and 16 and let them run MacOS apps, then yes, they might, just might have a market share significant enough to make some money for Apple. Otherwise it will be instant flop.
A report from The Elec says the 11-inch OLED iPad Pro could cost US$1,500 for the entry-level variant. Its 13-inch counterpart is said to retail at US$1,800. Both tablets are scheduled for a 2024 launch.
