Ah yes, to add insult to injury, while panels are all measured in nits(if we're getting to APL then that means high end panels already, likely >1000nits where projectors will never go), projectors have LED lumens, ANSI lumens, and fake lumens, LED lumens/2.4=ANSI lumens and as for fake lumens god knows how many because it doesn't account for anything beyond the light source.

The ZEBRONICS ZEB-PIXAPLAY 18 Projector has been launched in India. The gadget has up to 3,800 lumens brightness from its LED light source and can throw an image up to 508 cm (~200-in) wide. Plus, the device has an integrated speaker with support for Dolby Audio.
