Bought the S75qr and it is very good. But, neither the online manual, nor the LG customer service representative knew how to do the update to firmware.
To update the S75qr: download the "LG Soundbar app" from Android or Apple store. That app then gives clear instructions to follow to use Bluetooth to connect your phone/ tablet to the S75qr and through Bluetooth , you download  updates, then transfer them to the S75qr.
From then on you go through the soundbar app to do firmware updates and adjust the sound.
Be careful to get the LG app as there are other , similar named soundbar apps!

LG's mid-range soundbar comes with a wireless subwoofer and two rear speakers, which makes the Dolby Atmos-capable S75QR a decent 5.1.2 package considering its steeply discounted sale price of US$350 at Best Buy.
