Random Samsung/Apple comparisons because of the smartphone market.
Pandering to smartphone fans for views? I don't really get it lol. The 4070 will be in many machines (many that are more powerful too), so what is the purpose? Every time Apple does a "omg M series! GushGushGush" thing RTX beats it without really trying. Happened with 3070, and will probably happen with 4060

The real headline should be that Samsung has officially squashed their beef with nVidia. It is RARE to see an nvidia chip in a Samsung laptop (or any device for that matter).

Strange behaviour:
an RTX 3070 Laptop @100W + 12700H gets something around 115000 points with OpenCL API and there are already a couple of tests with RTX 4070 Laptop + 13900HX getting 114074 and 118205. It looks like this Samsung model has a lower TGP or bad optimization. In any case it looks like raw power is very similar to RTX 4070 and real plus is only DLSS 3.0 (frame generation).

Geekbench OpenCL runs of the M2 Max with a 38-core GPU and 64 GB unified memory and a Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Ultra with Core i9-13900HK and RTX 4070 Laptop GPU show the Samsung device to be 36% faster in the benchmark. Though not entirely representative of real-world performance benefits, the scores do show that Apple's M2 Max doesn't necessarily outperform Nvidia's offerings contrary to Apple's selective performance numbers during launch.
