The first Apple silicon-powered Mac Pro remains on the horizon, albeit without the allegedly now cancelled M2 Extreme chipset. Now, the Mac Pro is rumoured to effectively replace the Mac Studio, which Apple will leave languished on M1 chipsets until at least the M3 or M4 series arrives.
