Yeah doesn't sound too revolutionary in terms of hardware, honestly. Really has me baffled about the $3,000 price estimate since competing hardware available even now is only at most $1,500.

Sounds completely standard compared to contemporary XR headsets (Quest Pro, the upcoming XR Elite, etc). Apple might be able to refine some features, such as the ability to use a keyboard and visual quality (they better for the doubled price and slow roll out), but there is nothing groundbreaking. However, the press and Apple fans will probaby treat it like they are inventing everything.

Apple's first mixed reality headset is rumored to release this year. According to the latest report by Bloomberg, the device will feature an interface that is practically identical to iOS/iPadOS, advanced hand and eye tracking, a breath of video calling features, and up to 2 hours of runtime on a single charge.
