Noch im Dezember kündigte Ford zwei neue E-Autos auf Basis des Modularen E-Antriebs-Baukastens (MEB) von Volkswagen an, die in Köln vom Band laufen. Ford treibt allerdings die Entwicklung seiner eigenen E-Auto-Plattform für Europa weiter voran. Künftig will Ford ohne den VW-MEB seine Elektroautos bauen.
