Your article said this MacBook debuted at $1299; that it is $500 less. Thereafter it says it is now $1369, $530 less than the $1899 price. Did I misunderstand? Did it debut at $600 less than retail ($1299<$1899)?

Apple released the 13-inch MacBook Pro M1 in late 2020 at a starting price of US$1,299. Although relatively old, the notebook is still sufficiently powerful for most users. Now, B&H Photo has discounted the machine by more than US$500, making the MacBook Pro with M1 worth considering.
