It's funny to me to read about free 12-13GB is enough for everyone when I have 3 open browsers consuming 10Gb+ in an average load. And the critical software I need in the background immediately consumes 4.5-5GB. Memory ran out - wild brakes began with an SSD swap...

Today, even for "housewives", 32GB is the norm. Memory costs a penny, less than $100 for 32GB. Who is to buy something where there is no 32GB from the factory or they cannot be immediately installed?

Slim 7 series noisy laptop. These are NOT gaming station, a priori, this is a machine for business loads and some light outdated games 30 min-1 hour after work. Only the alternatively gifted for games. The web is full of reviews. In general, playing on any laptop is pure idiocy. Buy a PC/ps5 and don't fool people. Sitting in comfort and much more speed for the same money.

32GB and quiet operation in the office load in general up to 30% on average per core - that's what most buyers want.

The number of gamers who buy laptops for games. I saw statistics - no more than 10% globally. Nobody cares about their opinion. Except marketers.

Not to mention that 16 GB of memory is kinda mainstream and all right for most users at this moment.

For a desktop replacement, I don't think noise is a problem. In general, I don't think that noise can be a problem in a laptop that will be used for gaming with a headset on for most of the time.
