Quote from: Arthur on December 04, 2022, 12:54:22I recently bought this exact laptop and can confirm it's excellent. Got an insane deal as well at 3050ti laptop prices for more than 3060 performance in Indiahi. what about temperatures?
Good review, but there is a mistake. It does have a MUX, but it isn't enabled out of the box you need to update the BIOS for it, which enables Smart Access Graphics (auto MUX). It shows up in both Adrenalin and OMEN Hub. Windows update automatically updated the BIOS for me while setting up the laptop so I was able to realise this.

Cheap screen with low contrast and low resolution, sucky keyboard without normal numpad,
and noisy. A weak video card, which in Ultra already does not pull out the minimum 60fps even at 1080p, and at the same time VRR is also probably not working.
It's easier to add $200 and buy the much better Lenovo 7 2022 with AMD 6800+6700M.
//HDMI 2.1 up to 8K/60
Also, the review again contains incorrect information about support for 8k monitors (Lenovo also lies directly in all psrefs) - hdmi 2.1 does NOT physically support lossless 8k@60fps even in 24-bit mode, only with DSC losses, and this is not an honest sharp monitor mode. Only full DP2.0 (80Gbps) supports 8k monitors, but in 2022 models, it is nowhere to be found and definitely will not be in 2023 models with Zen4, so there is nothing corny to connect 8k monitors to anything with one cable...
