We as a nation is so far in debt and companies will tely on the tax payers subsidies to pay for it. Especially if it comes down to companies in small rural areas.
Is the government going to pay for private business to have charging systems, even portable in time. I am talking construction, farmers and other businesses that have to be mobile.
Farmers that have 5,000 acres to farm and travel 20 plus miles to get to all the land is looking at problems.
Will they have batteries that will last 18 hours and charge in 4 to 6.
This isn't even remotely a problem and will decrease the reliance on OIL where OPEC+ Sets the PRICES, a CARTEL of many countries who dislike the US and are just cranking up OIL / Gasoline and Diesel Prices.
Time to get OFF the OIL addiction once and for all. Prices for gasoline in the US are held hostage by the OPEC+ countries...they set market prices.
Deere and Caterpillar all the other farm and construction equipment manufacturers can make EV equipment, there are already Monster Dumptrucks made as EVs and will replace the Diesel guzzlers.
The construction and Farm equipment will almost certainly be made with swap-able Battery Packs, so that they can just be swapped and then keep running.
