Don't trust this. Ngreedia probably want to get rid of old 3000 series stock first. This fake 4080 16GB is actually a 4070 Ti at most. A true 4080 uses same die as 4090 i.e AD102

4080 16GB is over-priced so who cares. Anybody who would care should nevertheless NOT buy on launch day because Nvidia sets the review date line there, too. Buying GPUs blind is stupid; reviews must be read and fire hazards identified.

Instead, buy 4090 (if you need the speed), 4070 (if priced reasonably), or AMD or notebooks. 4080 16GB produced for reviewers' museums only would be ok, or Nvidia must halve the price.

Nvidia has kicked off its next generation of GPU hardware with the launch of the RTX 4090 and the RTX 4080 boards. Following the availability of the RTX 4090 in October, the RTX 4080 16 GB will be up for sale this month. Now, the latest report from Moore's Law Is Dead claims that, compared to the RTX 4090 supply, the initial stock of the RTX 4080 cards will be much less.
