Hunter, you have no idea what you are talking about. 1080p at 17" would look like trash.
This laptop looks pretty good. I've been waiting for a decent OLED screen combined with a 6000-series CPU and 32GB of RAM. 14" would be preferable, but this is light enough it might just be even better. Looking forward to the review.
No OEM knows what they're doing. Pixels are too small on laptops and too large on monitors (QHD/FHD). The optimal size pixel for a laptop is 17.3 inch FHD. Obviously such a screen size is too large for a portable device. The next display with similar pixel size is a 14 inch screen with 1600x900 resolution. No one makes 14 inch 1600x900 laptops anymore. Luckily I was able to assemble my own mini-ITX PC that has LVDS direct connection to LCD screen. I was able to source 14 inch 1600x900 screens from Aliexpress. I've never been happier with my DIY PC and will NEVER look to buy another portable computer unless it has similar pixel size as 17.3 inch FHD or 14 inch 1600x900!!
The latest business-oriented Swift Edge models sport ultra-slim magnesium-aluminum chassis with 0.51-inch profile and 2.58 lbs weight, making them the world's thinnest and lightest 16-inch laptops with 4K OLED screens. Extra security is provided via AMD's Ryzen Pro 6000 processors, along with Microsoft's Pluton chip, a fingerprint sensor and an IR 1080p webcam.
