Once again, I want to remind you that this projector, even at the level of HDMI ports, does not support monitor 8k@60Hz in lossless mode. This is possible today only with Display Port 2.0 (which is a priori impossible in such household appliances, both due to licensing restrictions and technical ones - the cable length is too short). However, there are in reality ordinary 4k panels with a virtual "8k" mode.
In general, this device is entertainment for the bored rich, but it does not provide any premium level that one would expect for such a monstrous money in the fall of 2022.

If there were native 8k panel and DP2.0 (at least it can be forwarded to the system unit through an optical distance expander), this would be an interesting device, at least technically, without looking at the price.

JVC has unveiled the DLA-25LTD, a limited edition projector celebrating the 25th anniversary of its D-ILA technology. The device has a 4K native resolution but can deliver 8K quality images thanks to e-shiftX technology. Only 25 units will be released later this year, retailing for US$29,999.
