Very good point Anan. If the MSI was reporting less than 275W draw then something was being sacrificed.

I think this is a testament on how good the Lenovo Legion 7 is. The CPU has a TDP of 98 sustained. The GPU - 140 w. Tests show power consumption of 250 w - meaning it was boosting one or the other. The MSI Titan GT77 has CPU TDP at 100 W, GPU - 175 W + 25 W boost. It was using 225 W during tests. Likely it was thermal throtling CPU or GPU. Unless CPU was not loaded during those tests.

We've tested dozens of laptops thus far with the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti but only one with the Radeon RX 6850M XT. AMD's fastest mobile GPU holds up well against the Nvidia equivalent except when it comes to ray-tracing and power consumption.
