The SQ3 is the 8cx Gen 3. Microsoft just overclock it and rebrand it. Microsoft will be using the 8cx Gen 3 in his year's Surface Pros.

According to reports, Microsoft is looking to introduce plenty of new devices at this year's autumn hardware event. Not only is the company rumoured to have Surface Pro 8 and Surface Pro X successors ready, but also the Surface Laptop 5 and even a Surface Studio 3.
