I had a moron of an ex-coworker at the last job that insisted the reason video card prices were over double SRP was because of Trump's implemented 10% tariff on goods from China and had absolutely nothing to do with over half the video card sold being used for crypto mining. And now the crypto market has pretty much collapsed, cards are selling for massively under SRP even though that 10% tariff on goods from China still exists. You just can't use logic with some people :/
Especially people that had 23 video cards they use for mining ethereum... I just wish he hadn't sold them all to get the money to buy his house because then I could have laughed at him losing his shirt when it lost 2/3 of its value and the video cards lost 2/3 of their value as well.

After years of ridiculously inflated prices, a new desktop GPU deal on Amazon finally brings the quick Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 back below US$1,000, which is a decent price for impatient gamers who can't wait for the upcoming release of the RTX 4000 series of graphics cards.
