Qualcomm and Meta have teamed up at IFA 2022 to unveil plans for custom chipsets to power the next generation of the latter's Quest hardware. They will be co-developed by the 2 companies, although they will be based on Snapdragon XR platforms. The collaboration is touted to deliver further advancements in augmented or virtual reality (AR/VR) experiences over the next few years.
