Wear OS has a history of lacking features a user might need or want in their smartwatch, one of which is the level of difficulty involved in pairing one to a new mobile device without a complete wipe of user data and settings. Now, however, a new code leak hints that a wearable running a future version of Google's UI will become able to back its profile up to a first-party cloud soon.
