I wonder if Canonical is planning on suing Lenovo for stealing their Ubuntu logo.  (Just remove the dots from the Ubuntu logo and you have the Lenovo legion one...)

I'm sure Framework didn't purposely steal Lenovo's design and I'm sure Lenovo isn't really afraid of Framework, but Trademark law is kind of funny. If they don't protect the mark, they can't protect the mark. If they don't tell Framework to stop, they can't tell ASUS or Acer or MSI to sometime down the line.

I like Framework, but they're in the wrong here and they same to know it. Like I said it was probably an honest mistake.

3- Framework has literally nothing to do with the Broken O design in question. It's a blatant infringement of an already existent design protected under trademark law. If it wasn't Legion that had the design, it would've been any other holder of the trademark granted they operate in the same industry.

Wow lol do you work for Lenovo? The design of the power button clearly looks the way it does out of structural necessity. It's a basic shape, can you imagine if someone tried to sue because they had a square or a circle somewhere on their product? This is such a dumb lawsuit. I can't imagine anyone in their right mind seeing this and thinking "This is a Legion product." Absolutely ridiculous.

This is on the same level as Sony sending a sue to D-Brand for those PS5 shells.

But, anyways, the button looks ugly with that "Legion" logo, so this is a win for Framework. I was looking for a Desktop (a small one) and this might actually serve me.
