The only solution for intel to increase performance is to go brute force on power for two generations now(alder-Raptor), so how you want AMD to be competitive without adding power at all? It's like wanting a super computer to consume equal power to a desktop PC. Don't worry dude, AMD is by far superior in performance per watt and tech leadership. You can go check top500, green500 , there you can see that AMD tech is the most efficient even compared with ARM.
32% at what cost? This increase in TDP needs to stop. They should find a different way to improve performance without giving up on efficiency. Otherwise they're no different from what intel has been doing in recent years.
The supposed full specifications for four SKUs of the upcoming AMD Ryzen 7000 series have been leaked. Astonishingly, it seems that the Ryzen 9 7950X will have a base clock that is a huge 1.1 GHz higher than that of the Ryzen 9 5950X. The Zen 4 "Raphael" chips can thank higher TDPs for the impressive clock-speed increases.
