If they're anything like last-gen, this is nothing to be excited about. Sennheiser is really lacking in the wireless department. But then again, so is everyone else.
Consumer preference is: Convenience > sound quality
And being wireless is all about convenience, which is why there are no audiophile wireless headphones.
What a shame. The touch sensitive controls are really something that causes more problems than it solves. It's finicky, can't be used with gloves... It was one of the ways sennheiser could distance itself from Sony favorably. Hoping for at least some kind of waterproof IP certification, but I'm not holding my breath. It's something wholly missing from most headphones even though it's an essential feature for something promoted as nomad or even just "portable" devices.
The Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless should be arriving later this month, ahead of which numerous promotional images have leaked. Highlighting a fundamentally new design, the high-resolution images also provide more details about the upcoming headphones' features and specifications.
