Not in China.  Despite US sanctions, Huawei still tops China's foldable smart phone market.  Still, foldables are nothing to cheer about.  Making folding phones is mostly a loss business for Huawei and I imagine the same goes for Samsung.  These guys are losing money in their respective markets to brag about being #1...

Samsung has shot to the top of the market for foldable mobile devices since its initial Galaxy Fold launch in 2019. Now, its president Dr. TM Roh has announced that shipments in this space have grown at least 3x in 2021 compared to 2020. The executive may have also alluded to plans for a slight foldable rebrand to be formally unveiled during the imminent Unpacked 2022 showcase.
