According to word on the grapevine, Qualcomm is set to abandon Samsung entirely for the manufacturing of its flagship 5G chipsets in the mid-term. Supposedly, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 could all be built by TSMC, after Qualcomm switched to the Taiwanese company's fabs for the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
