I tried looking up the "MUJI H-type bicycle" and had no luck. This thing for sure looks like a moped. The only baffling thing is that the parameters suck (so much so that it's not really a moped). It might be an artefact of local regulation. In the EU, it has to be a pedelec to have access to cycling paths and lanes. If you can't take advantage of that and you have to drive among cars, you might just as well go all the way (IIRC, mopeds can go up to 4 kW and 45 km/h). Nobody is going to pedal it above 25 km/h. How heavy is that thing anyway? And driving something that slow in traffic is IMHO dangerous.
MUJI and Honda have unveiled the jointly developed MS01 e-bike, now available in China. The bicycle has a top assistance speed of 25 kph (~16 mph) with up to 65 km (~40 miles) range. The MS01 has a keyless unlock feature, an LCD screen and LED lighting. The bike's design allows for an upright seating position with a motorcycle-style padded seat.
