You make some interesting suggestions, which I would like to understand better.
Quote from: NikoB on July 07, 2022, 22:21:06introduce a formalized method for measuring viewing angles (measure the real four viewing angles when the contrast drops by 5 and 10 times).
Please describe your suggestion in greater detail and how it compares to what is currently measured!
QuoteAlder Lake outright loses to TigerLake-H in AIDA64 Ray Trace FP64 tests.
The sequential tests state Alder Lake values but do not compare to Tiger Lake. Please state their values so we can compare! The latency test seems to fail. How can we compare its values?
QuoteIn terms of tuning RAM, the manufacturer clearly made a mistake. The speed of pumping in memory is seriously below the norm.
Please explain!
QuoteIt's time, as with PL1 / PL2, to clearly indicate to the reviewers what the buyer will deal with in the case of an HDMI port,
The same goes for TB3 / TB4.0 / USB40 - you need to check whether there really is a working support for eGPU and other requirements.
Hear, hear!
Quotein the case of a usb-c port with DP Alt Mode support, it is necessary to clearly write how many lanes are involved for DP forwarding inside usb-c port - 2 or 4.
Please explain in detail why this is relevant, how manufacturers should state it clearly and what exactly NBC should state!
QuoteHow can a 17.3 laptop be sold without a full keyboard with a standard numeric keypad?
Indeed, and normal-sized numeric keys!
Quotefrom the point of view of ergonomics and eye strain - all manufacturers are simply obliged to install even in all office models 15.6"-17.3" 144Hz with a response time of less than 10ms.
While I appreciate your suggested values, I have not felt a need for them for office use. 60Hz at 20ms does it for me. Maybe your values are something I would only learn to appreciate when sometimes using such a display or maybe my perception simply cannot notice a difference.
QuoteNotebook power supply MUST be done either at the back or with a round corner connector at the very edge
Right.
