Yes, I know that. But with M2, people were expecting more fixes over the bigger limitations M1 had, like the external display limitation on the Macbooks. It doesn't sounds like that big of an issue to fix for Apple and it's so weird there's a limitation to begin with.
The ram limitation is also kind of weird. I was expecting them to make the jump to 32 gb as a maximum (which would have been great) but jumping to 24gb is really weird. Feels like they are just doing half jumps in purpose.
And other than that, there was nothing else thrown in. I feel this is just a mid-cycle refresh to keep the momentum going.
And like I mentioned previously, this forces Apple to still sell the Mac Mini 2018 with Intel, because that one goes up to 64gb ram, and they still dont have (or dont want?) a proper product to substitute it.
