AMD's upcoming Instinct MI300 HPC accelerator may turn out to be an APU instead of just a GPU. The MI300 is now being rumored to integrate a Zen 4 CPU, a CDNA 3-based GPU, and shared HBM memory to create what could be the world's biggest x86 exascale APU for datacenters.
