It seems dumb to make an extension that can only be plugged in to the bottom port of a 120v outlet.  I have been in hotel rooms (Xian) with recessed 120v outlets and this charger may not work at all!  I had to stack USB cubes atop mini 3-sided extenders to get the cubes out of the recessed hole so I could use 3 of them ....

Blue can't penetrate eyelids when you are closing your eyes (because naturally it has a red color and acting as a barrier for blue light), but green and red yes. Especially the red. So blue light is safe when you are sleeping.

It may sounds nice for the light to not be as bright, but the last thing you want is a blue light if sleep is your desired goal. Blue lights penetrate deeper into the eye and harm sleep. Any other color, especially red, would have been better.

The portable extension cord integrates multiple USB ports to support charging of multiple devices in addition to two standard power outlets. The actual plug is small, however, and can be difficult to remove from the wall.
