Neat resolution, and it's great to see >60Hz refresh rates becoming more standard. However if they're already breaking the mold, I wonder why they wouldn't just go all the way for 16:10. The desktop monitor space is in a drought of taller aspect-ratio displays, especially higher-res ones.

Wow it's like the best thing that happened to pc monitors - ultrawide display didn't happen, and it's like year like 2005 when i bought my first and last 27" display.

According to new rumours from a typically reliable leaker, Apple is developing three new external monitors in collaboration with LG. The trio will offer up to a 120 Hz refresh rate across 24-inch, 27-inch and 32-inch screen sizes.
