It's either 8 inches or 10 inches for that midrange size.
The first company that comes up with a NINE INCH tablet gets my business.
8 = screen too small.
10 = too heavy to keep in hands.
Size matters... and I want NINE INCHES!

Huawei won't fab those 3DSoCs on "older process nodes".  14nm is still pretty cutting edge (most budget tablets today operate on 28nm).  Anyways, stack some 14nm chips onto each other and u get the same performance as 7nm. That's where Huawei aiming at for 3D Kirin chips.  14nm sanction-free domestic production line won't be ready in China in 2022.  That's y Huawei has to wait till 2023 to make the comeback.

Sounds like wishful thinking. But if they can make a 3DSoC to compensate for using older process nodes and beat the new stuff, good for them.

Not 2022 but 2023.  How can 2022 be that year when it's missing one of the biggest players Huawei? 

2023 Huawei makes a big comeback with two 3D stacked chiplets that have equivalent performance to 7nm and 5nm.  Since Huawei not allowed to fab chips using US tech, they're going to stack larger chips onto each other to achieve the same performance.  2023 will be that year when 3D stacked Kirin chips re-emerge..
