Qualcomm has started to drop increasingly strong teasers for an upcoming flagship mobile SoC to be called the Snapdragon 8 Gen1. This new top-end processor is also slated for an imminent launch, sparking rumors of new smartphones based on it that will also debut as soon as possible. ZTE's Nubia and RedMagic brands may have thrown their hats in this ring with their next-gen flagships.
