Sounds like the DRM software is the issue that needs adjusting.

Gigabyte has released a new tool to fix DRM issues on Intel Alder Lake processors. Due to the presence of E-cores on 12th gen Intel CPUs, some games were performing poorly. The tool disables E-cores without needing the user to go to the BIOS.
