Der Hersteller von Elektroautos Aiways aus Shanghai hat mit dem Aiways U5 im Jahr 2020 als erstes chinesisches Start-up einen vollelektrischen PKW auf den europäischen Markt gebracht. Jetzt erweitert Aiways seine Präsenz in Europa weiter. Neu hinzu kommen Portugal und Spanien. Der Aiways U5 Elektro-SUV ist Anfang 2022 erhältlich, gefolgt vom U6 SUV Coupé.
