IDC about benchmarks, and I think apple fans cherry pick theirs (but I guess so does everyone). But I just switched from dual Ryzen to M1 Pro last week and it is not a small difference. This is the fastest video editing performance I've ever seen, working with 8k in all sorts of codecs. Mac OS is a bit of a rough adjustment for me but there is nothing like this in the PC sphere for my work. I don't have to render timelines, and the exports are 4x faster than my custom PC editing tower I paid $3499 for last year. Hoping amd or Intel can have a chip that answers to this performance so I can switch back, but doubtful

Pretty much all of them:  Mathematica, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat Pro, etc.  And they can all benefit from faster single-core speeds (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint if you have large, complex documents).

Please, tell me how many applications single thread are you use now? Please give me only one?
