Redmi numeral series is 100% Redmi 11, 12 etc. It's always referred to this way in Chinese. Not related to K series, sorry.

I still use the k20, but I heard you cant use any of those new k series outside of china...

A new leak has provided some information on the battery capacities of two devices Xiaomi has in the works. The source fails to specify what devices they refer to exactly, but claims they'll be launched under the Redmi brand, perhaps hinting at the upcoming Redmi K50 series.
