Kioxia has introduced new EXCERIA-line M.2 2280 SSDs for desktops or laptops. The OEM asserts that the new PRO variant is for enthusiasts, whereas the G2 is more for the mainstream, mainly as they support PCIe Gen 4 and Gen 3 respectively. The 2 new drives also feature the proprietary "BiCS" flash memory and up to 2TB capacities.
