As I already mentioned, the bad benchmark results are almost certainly caused by a very bad factory paste job (or something else is very wrong with the cooling setup, damaged heat pipes or something like that).

My GP76 Leopard (i7 11800h) has exactly the same cooling and after a repaste now reaches about 5100-5200 in Cinebench R20 and can sustain >80W (60W before repaste).

I am wondering why the reviewer didn't notice that the results are completely out of the line and there must be something wrong with the review unit.

Cezanne/Ryzen 5000 Mobile is definitely better if it comes to efficiency, but not that much that it would make the 11th Gen Intel Systems overheating (like it was with 10th Gen). Just look at the CPU Cooling solution: only 2 heatpipes, one of them is even smaller than the standard ones. Most ultrabooks have a better solution nowadays. The screenshots show that the CPU is thermal throttling (95°C) while only using 45W. This is just a poor cooling solution. I agree that Ryzen would be better for that device. But at higher power usage Cezanne actually becomes worse than Tiger Lake H45, that point is reached at about 95W and above.

MSI hat uns gebeten einige Messungen (vor allem Cinebench) mit einem aktuelleren BIOS zu wiederholen. Falls das BIOS-Update klappt, wird der Artikel in den kommenden Tagen geupdatet.

Ich bin mir ziemlich sicher das der verbaute HDMI Port 2.1 unterstützt. Die Angabe "1x (8K @ 60Hz / 4K @ 120Hz) HDMI" auf der Webseite spricht stark dafür.

Ich habe hier das eine Nummer kleinere Modell von MSI, den GP76 Leopard 11gen. Ich hatte anfangs auch recht unterdurchschnittliche Performance (Cinebench R20 ca 4200-4300). Ich habe dann einen Repaste gemacht. Der Kühlpastenauftrag ab Fabrik war unter aller Sau. Ich habe dann Kryonaut drauf gemacht, Cinebench R20 schafft jetzt ca. 5100).
