Power delivery an Smartwatches?
PD ist ein Teil der USB Specs und definiert aktuell USB Typ C als Anschluss, das ist für Smartwatches denkbar ungünstig.

This is really justified:
1. For consumers, when purchasing a wicked device, you do not need to watch which charging technologies are used.
2. The pluses are that there will be no "disappointment of users" from a long charge (after all, not all users are attentive and understand that there are different technologies) and that there will be less than the risk of "incorrect charging".
3. Manufacturers of charger will easier to adhere to one standard (and not to release for different brands or try to combine multiple types to one charging unit). It will also reduce the size of the charging devices themselves.
