Yes there is a slight Screen-Door effect unfortunately, I can confirm the same issue is on Spectre 13.5, Envy 15, and ZBook Studio model as well, having used both. While it's not as bad as the older 4K IPS Pentile displays, the graininess is certainly noticeable on whiter background and certain still photos.

Hopefully the new Samsung panel being made for XPS' 3.5K OLED is using the standard phone/tablet like subpixel matrix without resorting to these 'cheating' methods.

The gen-to-gen updates over 10th gen Ice Lake are massive in terms of graphics performance, but everything else remains essentially unchanged. If you're not doing any gaming or picture editing, then last year's model will be more than enough.
