ChromeOS is the future of 2-in-1 PCs with the new ARM chips and possibly with RISC-V architecture.

The vast majority don't need any more than a desktop browser, free connectivity apps, and a few paid pro-level apps. ChromeOS offers them all, while getting direct support from Google, with 8+ years of promised feature and security updates, unlike Android. And unlike Windows 10, it has a far more intuitive Tablet UI and isn't bloated.

Think about it, for a K12/Uni student and a office worker who mainly works on their browser, all you need is a desktop PC at home, a laptop for primary use, and a tablet for writing and leisure.
A 2-in-1 ARM Chromebook can substitute all of that, while being capable of offering the SAME premium hardware as laptops at a lower price, by saving manufacturing costs with battery, motherboard, cooling system, and I/O.

It's also great for business administrators and sysadmins who have to manage a batch of them, which gives it a huge advantage over Windows 10, MacOS, iPadOS, or Android as a choice for organizations and businesses.
