If you play cross platform games there is one very vital feature missing. You can not chat with Discord via bluetooth when you are gaming. You can get headset capable of this with much cheaper

B&O:s product info is very unclear about this and when I contacted their support and they had no idea what I was talking about.

If you need this feature then do not buy this headset!

Good to know. It's amazing how all these "gaming" headsets have zero flexibility when it comes to multiple audio sources. Whether someone wants to listen to music and Discord, Discord and their game, the game and the phone, etc, these headsets really need more options. I bought a Plantronics headset a few years ago based on the feature of being able to individually control the volume of the game and voice chat, only to find it didn't work as advertised, and ended up returning it. It just amazes me how there are so many different models of headsets/laptops/phones/etc, and yet so many of them are fundamentally the same and lacking important, and what should be obvious, features.

Beoplay Portal is the first wireless gaming headset from Bang & Olufsen. With a rather sober design, the Beoplay Portal comes with an all-new virtual boom arm, adaptive active noise cancellation, Dolby Atmos for Headphones support, and up to 24 hours of autonomy. Those interested can already purchase it for US$499.
