Einem neuen Bericht aus Taiwan zufolge planen sowohl Acer als auch Asus, die Preise ihrer Notebooks signifikant zu erhöhen. Grund dafür ist die immense Nachfrage, die das Angebot übersteigt, was im zweiten Quartal durch angepasste Preise ausgeglichen werden soll. Asus spricht davon, dass die Preise der eigenen Laptops zum ersten Mal überhaupt "signifikant" erhöht werden.
