For many scientific workloads (like CFD), twice the memory bandwidth means twice the speed. TR Pro is hands-down the best CFD processor right now. I don't know why reviewers keep doing TR Pro comparos for workloads that don't benefit from the extra memory bandwidth.

An intriguing Unreal Engine comparison featuring a whole range of high-powered processors has been carried out by Puget Systems, with the very expensive AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 3995WX coming out on top. The test also featured the Zen 3 Ryzen 9 5950X, AMD's Ryzen Threadripper 3990X, and even a Comet Lake Intel Core i9-10900K.
