You buy a Nintendo Switch because you know you will get 6years + of the best games

Investing into a mobile based platform means your device will be obsolete in 3 years and you've still haven't played anything decent.

How is the Gpu not more powerful then a 6 year old X1? please fix this nonsense.

I was going to make a component about Nvidia secret sauce graphics IP, but looking at the benchmarks, it does look the latest Snapdragon (888) has the Tegra X1 well and truly beaten in graphics benchmarks at the very least, in fact even the 855 and 865 come out on top by a fairly wide margin.

That is simply using OpenGL graphics though, it must be said - how much of a difference Nvidia's NVN api makes, only the developers will know.

A new report tells us that Qualcomm is working on a Nintendo Switch-like gaming console. It will be powered by the company's in-house Snapdragon SoC and run Android 12 out of the box. The console could cost around US$300 and will be announced sometime in Q1, 2022.
