They're competing against U$ 150 quad-core smartphones from LG, so they'll be fine.

The truth is that the Brazilian smartphone market is just sad. The monthly minimum wage is equivalent to U$ 258, and thanks to profiteering every smartphone also costs two times more than it would cost in China or in the U.S.

It's actually cheaper buying from AliExpress.

Motorola has released the Moto E6i to the Brazilian market. This phone has just 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, something that one would have thought would be left behind at this stage. It also has a Unisoc SoC, an HD+ display and a microUSB port. On the plus side, it is an Android Go device, at least.
